Homegrown Pioneer IT Firm - WIRED-MEDIA Launches New IT Services

Singapore, 11 January 2007 - After 10 years in the IT industry, Singapore’s homegrown local success story WIRED-MEDIA is set to expand its business into Outsourced IT Managed Service and Microsoft Software Rental License. This move comes at a time when there is strong growth in the demand from companies for outsourced IT services.

Started as a small independent software development house pioneered in 1996, WIRED-MEDIA has evolved into a highly successful IT Solutions Provider working with Government and private sector clients from around the region. The company provides a popular web hosting service and offers web content management, server co-location, database management, E-commerce, computer-based training applications and consultancy services to medium and large business enterprises.

The new range of outsourced services offered by WIRED-MEDIA will enable clients to significantly lower their operation costs by removing need for companies to employ IT infrastructure and staffing.

Microsoft Software Rental License is another key area of focus with WIRED-MEDIA recent appointment to be Microsoft Service Provider.  With this, WIRED-MEDIA is able to offer clients Microsoft software on a rental basis, instead of clients purchasing the license, helping clients to save tremendously and most importantly be updated on the latest version when they are being rolled out.  As a business entity that wants to save software costs, it is illegal to use pirated copies and hence software rental is the most ideal solution. 

 Clients treat these costs just like a utility such as electricity, water or gas, paying only what they need. In fact it is now quicker, simpler and easier to rent the latest and current versions of software legally on demand than go to the trouble of locating software that can be copied.  Software that clients could rent include:
